November 18th will mark the release date for “Mind Gardens,” the new album by the “Segovia of Surf," master finger style guitarist, Toulouse Engelhardt.

This will only be Engelhardt’s third acoustic guitar project since the release of his critically acclaimed first album, “Toullusions” distributed through John Fahey’s legendary Takoma Records and reissued by Hollywood Records, a Walt Disney Company in 1996.

This new, collection of 13 novelettes for acoustic guitar, spans the vast spectrum of musical form and is a plethora of eclectic guitar virtuosity. Included in this sonic odyssey, will be 11 original compositions for 12-String and Spanish Guitar, encapsulating the guitarist’s signature lightning fast “free-form “guitar style, atonal experimentation and melodic fantasias, along with a new transcription for 12 String guitar of “Sarabande” composed by Francis Poulenc in 1960, and a stunning adaptation of the traditional hymn, “Simple Gifts” recorded “live” in concert in 2013’!
