Ash Ra Tempel was the cult band of guitarist and experimental musician Manuel Goettsching. They are considered one of the pioneering bands of the German Cosmic Rock, avantgarde, electronic music scenes. Their self titled debut is considered one of the founding documents of "Krautrock."
