In addition to the concert, "Fullhouse" moderator Alan Bangs interviews Nick van Eede and Kevin Scott Macmichael on the development of the band. Cutting Crew was founded in Canada in 1985 by bandleader Nick van Eede and guitarist Kevin Scott Macmichael. The bands optimistic songs charm through catchy melodies and skilful deployment of acoustic and electronic instruments, which is why they were chosen as an opening act for such bands as The Bangles and Huey Lewis & the News.
