A brand new series of intimate, face-to-face interviews with some of Britain's finest actors, who share with us moments from their lives and work in theatre, television and films. Featuring an extensive archive of rare photographs and film trailers, From Stage to Screen is a nostalgic trip down memory lane in the company of highly respected actors who have given us unforgettable performances.

  • Julian Glover – A classically trained actor, who has played refined villains in several big-budget Hollywood movies, including General Maximilian Veers in Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back (1980), Kristatos in For Your Eyes Only (1981) and Walter Donovan in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). In recent years, he has had a recurring role as Grand Maester Pycelle on the smash hit HBO series Game of Thrones (2011-present).
  • Vera Day – Known as the blonde bombshell of 50's British cinema, she graced many classic movies of the era with her voluptuous presence, including the horror films Quatermass 2 (1957), The Woman Eater (1958), and The Haunted Strangler (1958). Decades later, she had a memorable supporting part in Guy Ritchie's Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels (1998).
  • Roy Dotrice – A definitive character actor, who in his career created a thousand unforgettable faces and voices, appearing on Broadway 13 times and winning a Tony Award for Eugene O'Neil's A Moon for the Misbegotten. He is well-remembered for his role as ‘Father' on the cult TV series Beauty and the Beast with Ron Perlman and Linda Hamilton (1987-1990). Dotrice passed away in 2017 at the age of 94.
