BAND BIOGRAPHY The black metal band GRABAK, hailing from Leipzig (Germany), was formed by Jan Klepel (vocals), Dirk Lakowitz (drums), Andre Recklies (bass) and D. Glaser (guitar) in 1995. GRABAK was looking for a record label and eventually signed with CCP Records in 1999, where the debut album "Der Prophet Des Chaos" was released in the autumn of the same year. The albums Encyclopedia Infernalis" (2001) and "The Serpent Within Paradise" (2003) followed. The band's fourth album, "Agash Daeva", was released in June 2007 on Black Blood Records. In March 2011, GRABAK signed a two-albums record deal with Twilight Vertrieb, and released the album "SIN" in 2011 too. The ever-changing line-up over the years led to changes in the band's sound too. Nowadays, GRABAK are one of Germany's fastest black metal bands. GRABAK is now back with a complete line-up. With B.S. on drums and C.L. on guitars, the band found a worthy replacement for the previous band members. With the new line-up, the band hit the studio in May 2017 to record the follow-up to the last album "SIN" (2011), which is called "Bloodline Divine" and will be released in November 2017 on Massacre Records. ALBUM INFO From a musical point of view, GRABAK's "Bloodline Divine" consequently takes up, where "Agash Daeva" and "SIN" left off. Furiously fast riffs and atmospheric parts as well as a gut-wrenching sound form the foundation of the nine blasphemous black metal songs. The opposing melodic lines of both guitars complement each other well, and offer the listener a whole new listening experience, which gets even better the more often you listen to the album. The blast beats, fill ins and pounding drum parts as well as the bass and the varied vocals fit into everything perfectly. Eventually, the subtle use of choirs, strings as well as soundscapes complete "Bloodline Divine".
