Like its predecessor, Thick as a Brick (1972), it is a concept album the theme being the spiritual journey of one man in the afterlife. On release it had chart success around the world hitting no. 1 in the US & no. 13 in the UK. On this beautiful expanded case-bound book edition we have the original album and earlier Chateau d'Hérouville Sessions mixed to 5.1 surround sound and stereo by Steven Wilson. No indication of what's on the DVD's; probably making of materials.
