Remember Stephen Mallinder of Cabaret Voltaire had a house named Hula Kula back in the Eighties? Apart from an endless list of guests, members of Hula (who named themselves after the house) used to live there as well. Ron Wright of Hula and Mal of the Cabs recorded a piece of music together entitled "Tenement Noise" back in 1981. Until now, this unique document has never seen the light of day. We are now proudly presenting you this track for the first time ever. And because we want to give you even more, Ron and Mal have made new versions of the track in 2013/4. "Tenement Noise" is a rough, abstract piece of dark ambient/Industrial soundscapes. The new versions also include beats and take the original to somewhere quite exciting and very different. A must have for any Cabs, Hula, ClockDVA, 23 Skidoo, Sheffield funk and Eighties Industrial fan.
