Founded in 2004 by vocalist/ guitarist Tom "Voltage" Krämer and bass player Luciano "Louis" Vanini, NitroVolt - originally called "Hi Octane Rockers," were a trio. In 2009, Tim Vader, a second guitar player and die-hard NitroVolt fan (he already knew all the songs), joined the band. In 2014, Ulas replaced drummer Smokey, who'd been with the band since 2013, having replaced Micha, the original drummer. On a long and rocky road, NitroVolt became one of the loudest and fastest bands in Europe, playing a unique blend of Speed rock and Punk. NitroVolt toured incessantly, their contagious sound - at the time labeled by the media as a cross between Motörhead and Zeke (the American hardcore punk band from Seattle) - and powerful stage presence, rapidly spread like wildfire and earned them a fanatic fan following. In 2011 NitroVolt released their debut album "Rock "N" Roll Commando," but unfortunately their label went belly-up. Still, "Rock "N" Roll Commando" garnered rave reviews, NitroVolt now often favorably compared to such bands as the Texan outfit Speedealer, and even with the subtlety-free hard rocking Airbourne from Australia. They kept on touring, all over Germany, also venturing into the surrounding countries like the Benelux and France, often playing with the stylistically comparable Peter Pan Speed rock from the Netherlands. Hard work and perseverance ultimately paid off, and late 2012 NitroVolt signed a new deal with Mausoleum Records for the worldwide release of their delicately titled second album "Pänzer," in May (Europe), June (North America) 2013. Lauded by both the specialised media and fans alike, NitroVolt embarked on another round of touring, greatly broadening their fan-following. With "Dirty Wings," their third album, hi-octane rockers NitroVolt are poised to take you on another bone-shaking breakneck-speed mega-horse-power turbo-charged rollercoaster ride.
