The Canadian rockband Saga, originally known as Pockets, was founded in the summer of 1977 by the former members of the band Fludd and Truck. As the trio including Jim Crichton, Steve Negus and Michael Sadler strengthened with Ian Crichton (Gitarre), Jim Gilmour (Keyboards), and two more musicians, the band changed its name to Saga. From the beginning the band's success was never subjected to any borders. With the first albums „Images At Twilight" (1979), „Worlds Apart" (1982) or „Head Or Tales" (1983) containing world hits such as "Humble Stance", "Wind Him Up", "On The Loose", "The Flyer", "How Long" or "Don"t Be Late," Saga entered the radio charts around the world. Until today the band's style, consisting of a mix of synth and monumental rock, has not been able to sell more than seven million records. The album "House Of Cards" entered the German album charts at number 34 and at 100 in Switzerland. The collection with its eleven new songs are fresh, inspiring, contemporary and modern, without neglecting the unmistakable Saga sound.
