After years of conquering the dance industry as part of the legendary house music duo Deep Dish, 2006 saw Sharam strike out on his own. That year, Global Underground commissioned him to release one of most successful mixes of the year, "Global Underground: Dubai," which was billed by DJ Mag as "a double header CD that kicks the dust outta the dance with its skywards soars, desert storming dirtiness and seductive sensuality." But perhaps the biggest success of 2006 was Sharam's remake of Eddie Murphy's 1985 cult classic, "Party All The Time." Smashing the WMC and receiving constant plays from the likes of Pete Tong, "P.A.T.T." as it came to be known, was an overnight globalphenomenon. Receiving attention from all of the industry's biggest names, producers were lining up to have a shot at remixing one of the year's most sensational tracks. The first round went to Yoshitoshi staple and long time friend, Cedric Gervais who added his impeccable Miami flavor to the mix. Then came the mixes from rising house producers Fedde Le Grand, Tocadisco, and Dennis Christopher. This collection of remixes was, much like the original release, hailed by authorities everywhere as a dynamic dance sensation.
