After over 35 years of releasing music, touring the globe and winning over scores fans including the alt rock elite, Japan's most recognized indie rock import, Shonen Knife returns to their hometown of Osaka to record "ALIVE! in Osaka". The DVD/CD set captures a 21 song live set of new and old fan featuring new and old fan favorites such as "Sushi Bar", "Bear Up Bison", "Super Group" "Giant Kitty" "BBQ Party" "Antonio Baka Guy" and "Jump Into The New World". The show was recorded in September 2017 at Juso Fandango in Osaka, on the band's tour for their latest release "Adventure". Shonen Knife has been reinventing themselves for over 3 decades, still remaining fresh and ready to explore new ground while staying true to their love of pop, classic metal and punk rock. ALIVE! in Osaka features sisters and founding members Naoko and Atsuko, joined by drummer Risa performing with the energy and excitement that has made Shonen Knife one of the most steadfast Japanese musical acts of the past 30 years.. "ALIVE! in Osaka" will be released physically in a special DVD/CD combo set as well digitally in separate Video and Audio releases on May 4th on Goo Goo Doll bassist Robby Takac's Good Charamel Records.
