The Resurrection Game is set in a near-future world where the dead have begun to walk. Now commercials use the zombie "Infestation" to sell soft drinks, and the most popular nighttime talk show is hosted by a zombie puppet named Necro-Phil. But one night, a down-on-his-luck ex-police detective, Jim Campbell, receives a mysterious video-call from the world-renowned horror author, Christopher Pope. He makes Campbell an offer: one million dollars to discover a zombie cure. Campbell's investigation leads him to the doorstep of the reclusive scientist, Dr. Emily Zarkoff, whose former patients, years ago, actually became the first reported zombies. Their meeting is cut short by an attack from a mysterious stranger. Now, teaming up with Sr. Bliss and Simon McForman, a pair of bickering zombie exterminators, this quartet must fight both zombies and the insidious forces behind a global conspiracy. But who's holding the cards? Is it the government? Or is it the conglomerate Godcorp, a producer of consumer goods bent on putting its trademark on the world?
