During the time of a global pandemic, Ontario, Canada's AGE OF WOLVES not only formed out of some previously heavy hitting bands, but they managed to write and record an album. Their self-titled debut is a barnburner of an album that rocks from the first note to the last! Formed in Oct. 2019 the band consists of Michael Edwards (LoDown, Thy Kingdom Slum), Ray Solomon (Thy Kingdom Slum, My Terminal Ritual) and Dwayne LaFramboise (Thy Kingdom Slum, My Terminal Ritual) and AL Yeti Bones (Gypsy Chief Goliath, Georgian Skull, The Mighty Nimbus). The band recorded a full-length album in the midst of a global pandemic, while they also made a documentary with the help of filmmaker Syx Langemann, which is due to be released on Amazon Prime later this year. Some of the band's influences include Motorhead, Clutch, Iron Maiden, Thin Lizzy and Black Sabbath among others and interestingly enough, picking up on all and any of the above influences is very easy upon listening to AGE OF WOLVES. Hell, some songs might even fool you to believe it's Frank Zappa playing heavy metal! This is Metal, Stoner, even Blues some might say but above all it's some damn fine Hard Rock ('n' Roll)!
