Dreams, recurring patterns, reminiscences, desires, the question about reality or simply the longing for the vast, undiscovered universe. These are the focus of German group Amplified Memory, who have been working on their own musical conception of melodic death metal since 2008. While their debut album The Ever Spinning Wheel (2013) was almost exclusively influenced by the classic Gothenburg melodic death metal, they expanded their style gradually by using numerous elements of progressive and black metal without giving up their original strengths: dual guitar lines, powerful growls, beautiful melodies, atmospheric keyboards and elaborate riffs.
