ATOMIC ROOSTER-one of the finest examples of progressive rock/heavy metal hybrid and this release is of remastered tracks from the period of 1970 to 1982. All tracks have been drawn from JOHN DU CANN's personal tape archive; he has also supplied unseen band photos of himself and the late VINCENT CRANE and the late PAUL HAMMOND. To the un initiated ATOMIC ROOSTER was a band that never fully realised their full potential. To the informed Atomic Rooster rate alongside DEEP PURPLE and achieved what very few heavy rock bands did at the time - two Top Ten singles.
