Echoing classic 70's icons while remaining completely unreserved, alive & unapologetic, The Beauvilles' "Whispering Sin" is best described as simply New Rock and Roll music. With a sense of urgency, after the first listen one believes singer Shawn Kyle Beauville lives and dies with every note of his band's music. Abandonment spills forth from the opening track of this full length debut from this American indie touring group. These twelve songs suggest that the terms Indie & Epic are not mutually exclusive, speaking in verse and free association about travel & tragedy, mad love & violent excess and lust & late nights between the sheets. Recorded with road worn instruments & vintage tube equipment in makeshift studios between the band's tours of the underground club circuits and back alley stages of America, you hear young men at the end of their means leaving everything on the table, and in the recording itself. Passionately moody and nothing short of totally brilliant!
