Most bands will take a tour, or a series of shows, to assemble what eventually becomes their 'Live' album. Bill Toms and his band, Hard Rain side stepped this process by recording one show, on one night in a small, sweaty, rock and roll bar on the outskirts of Pittsburgh, PA. On a warm summer night in June of 2009, at a place called Moondogs, in a small town called Blawnox, this band captured a moment that teems with passion and a sense of purpose. The sound is stunning. Recorded by veteran producer, engineer, Rick Witkowski, "Live at Moondogs : Another Moonlight Mystery" is a fascinating document of one man's vision, and his band who understand the picture being painted.
