BODIE is a solo folk-rock project created by Thomas NOËL. Blending saturated guitars and melodic voices supported by ethereal choruses, BODIE is the combination of his musical and cinematograhic universes. A mix between Fleet Foxes, Eddie Veder and Radiohead who would gather for a sonic illustration of Dead Man. Composed alone (guitars, percussions, orchestrations and arrangements... ), his first EP, the well-titled « First » was released in 2013. It brings up a sound that is both raw and filled with emotions. The perfect soundtrack to cast a shadow over a well too sunny spring afternoon. Recorded at home then masterised at Zoe H studio, « First » offers an otherworldly but always clear sound, dark without being depressing, meditative without being boring. The band's live prestations are scarce but always leave an impression. With a line up made of members from "extreme metal" formations, as Necroblaspheme, Glaciation and The CNK, BODIE offers more calm but still as intense and strong melodies in emotions...
