Already since 2001 BURIAL HORDES rough up the scene with their brutal and unapologetic way to mix Black and Death Metal. Their concept of unyielding brutality and darkness, teaming up with a philosophy full of negative energy, shows that the Greeks have nothing friendly to say both musically and lyrically. Already with their first demo CD "Entering the Untrodden Forest", BURIAL HORDES caused quite a stir. First concerts as well as a second demo CD (2002) followed. When the band's debut album, "War, Revenge and Total Annihilation" was released in 2005 via Oath records & Asphyxiate Recordings, the number of fanatics who followed BURIAL HORDES' fantastic old school Black Metal grew bigger and bigger. In 2008, the band signed a deal with well-known scene label Pulverized Records and brought their darkness to the world on an even bigger scheme. In the following years, the world saw a re-release of the band's debut album and their second full-length work "Devotion to Unholy Creed", helping BURIAL HORDES to ultimately put their name into the scene's collective memory. After a number of split releases, one EP and a compilation, BURIAL HORDES entered the studio again in 2013 to record their third album. "Incendium" was released in 2014 by Hellthrasher Productions. 2016 marks the start of a new chapter in the history of BURIAL HORDES: The band has inked a deal with German cult underground label Folter Records and will release their new EP "Extinction" before long. Once more, the listener can await a musical inferno of harsh brutality and absolute darkness. BURIAL HORDES stick to their original concept, but find new ways within their impetuous sound. Being loyal to their anti-commercial, anti-social, anti-religious, satanic, chaotic and misanthropic ideology, they will continue to follow their infernal and hateful inspirations...
