Our 8-CD-box 'Stairway To The Stars' traced Caterina Valente's route to the top from 1954 to 1958. Our new box, 'With A Song In My Heart', contains her English-language singles and albums recorded for Decca, London and RCA Victor from 1959 to 1973. Note, though, that the LPs are reissued in full, even if an album contains an occasional non-English recording.
The set includes many previously unissued songs, as well as the complete 'With A Song In My Heart' session with all outtakes plus an audition tape from the late 50s.
'With A Song In My Heart' is a 9-CD-boxed set that shows Caterina Valente as a truly international star, equally at home with torch ballads, show tunes, and pop songs. In fact her versatility is limitless. Most of the songs are on CD for the first time. The box also includes a hardcover book, written by Caterina Valente's friend Kathrin Brigl.
