After becoming a duo they have just finished their coming nine album/EP 'XVI'. The music was recorded and co-produced by Daniel 'Fagge' Fagerström (Viagra Boys, Jenny Wilson, Nina Kinert etc), is still as grand and dreamy as before.
CHIVVY creates a large and evocative soundscape with atmospheric guitars, synths and dreamy vocals. The music is often compared to bands such as Warpaint, Beach House, Cocteau Twins and Massive Attack. Last year they released their debut album which was praised by both Swedish and international press and received, among other things, 5 stars by GAFFA and was classified as one of Sweden's best albums of 2021 by HYMN. In 2022, CHIVVY was nominated for the GAFFA prize and the Manifest Awards.
