Press Quotes

The Dahmers are a Bromölla-based band that takes the primitive energy of punk, adds the devil-may-care giddiness of garage and mixes it all together, (...) we can see this becoming your soundtrack the next time you rent a van, grab some brews and hit the road with your best buds.

Juxtaposing dark lyrical content with jubilant melodies and sing-a-long choruses, The Dahmers create a punk masterpiece. Mired in the late '90's punk sensibility, they bring strong chops in their competition against more contemporary artists in their genr

With a tornado of influences like garage punk, classic rock, and 60's pop the band truly is a Frankenstein's monster of music. This is a band who are going their own way with colourful contrasts while still keeping the main essence of what they are all ab

The EP Blood On My Hands is the latest release from the well- oiled machinery that is the Dahmers, and the band keeps going strong. The band is well educated both when it comes to performing live as well as writing songs, which is shown on the record.

Take the primitive energy of punk and mix it with Thin Lizzy guitars that strike like lightning. Add melodies that will stay in your head like a leech to your eye and lyrics that would make Dario Argento and George Romeros work sound like bedtime stories.

It has a great influence from RAMONES in its nastier and dirty moments, along with Rockabilly touches and tons of fun. This is what we can say about the Swedish Garage Rock band, THE DAHMERS, which is putting the door down with a kick, and playing a wild

The spooky new single 'Night Crawler' off The Dahmers upcoming album is a haunting conglomerate of grungy garage punk and indie rock for headbangers and horror-film fanatics. The band livens up lo-fi with tension-heavy themes and spunky guitar lines, alon

Once again, drenched in vintage horror aesthetics, The Dahmers' work conveys palpable energy and bits that draw from sixties garage punk's grit and rock 'n' roll's timelessness.

The Dahmers, a punk band with horror rock tendencies, have a 4 song E.P. titled 'Creepiest Creep' coming out April 27th via Lovely Records. It is 4 high-energy tracks, and I wish it was actually more like 12 tracks; that's how good it is. They are able to

Creepiest Creep is an EP that balances it's horror influences against the full tilt boogie of rock 'n roll, and in my book that makes for a pretty irresistible combination.
