As dusk settles in and night time approaches The Dahmers rise from their coffins once more. Like bloodthirsty creatures of rock n roll they will burst out into the moonlight leaving solitude behind on a rampage for terror. 13 nerve breaking songs dedicated to the darkest of hours that will cut you down ruthlessly. A mutation of garage punk, energic rock and 60s pop makes 'In The Dead Of Night' a Frankensteins monster of music. 'In the Dead of Night' is the second album from Swedish rock n roll sensation the Dahmers. This album follows up their 'Demon' debut album and the EP´s 'Terror on wheels' and 'Blood on my hands'. An all out rock n roll nightmare that will leave you breathless.

Press Quotes

'The Dahmers are horror rock crusaders and they're making a killing'

     —Metal Hammer

'The Dahmers, perhaps the greatest horror-punk band since 45 grave. With a sound that's sorta like The sweet and sorta like Generation X and The Hellacopters, Dahmers pour hooks, fuzz and raw rock'n'roll action into every ghoulish nugget.'

     —Classic Rock Magazine

'horror obsessed, garage pop tunes from beyond the grave on the land of the living. That, my fellow freaks and geeks is how (or at least it is in my fevered imagination) this magnificent monster of a record came into being. And it is horrifyingly good...'

     —Tim Cundle, http://massmovement.co.uk/?p=13713

'So, do the Dahmers deliver on this their second long player? They do so and easily, the way this band can roll over a pop punk rock and roll tune is second to none.'

Taking inspiration from fellow Swedish acts The Hives and The Hellacopters, the Dahmers craft a sound here that is equal parts loud garage rock, abrasive punk and infectious pop. What sets the band apart from their hard-rocking countryfolk is their obvious love for all things creepy, eerie and macabre. From the cover art featuring someone (or something) inside a casket opening the coffin lid, to songs paying loving tribute to Dario Argento ('Deep Red'), CARNIVAL OF SOULS ('To the Night'), the undead ('Bloodsucker') and pretty much everything else that goes bump in the night, The Dahmers' latest offering oozes affection for horror from every note. Highly recommended.
