The phenomen German Neo-Psychedelic is honoured for the first time now on a compilation. The early 80's hip mix of garage, punk, rock & psychedelic slopped over from the important centers like Hamburg, Berlin, Ruhr area, and Southern Germany all over the republic and also received a lot attention in foreign countries. Agents of this genre like The Multicoloured Shades, The Shiny Gnomes, 39 Clocks, The Chud, Dizzy Satellites, Gipsy Rover etc. have been resounded throughout the land, some of them even got a foot in the door of the industry and caused further spreading around. A certain breeze of paisley, leather, and velvet was in the air. Farfisa organs met fuzz-guitars and synthesizer. Everything was possible in the 2nd half of the 80's - then the scene faded out. Various bands broke up or changed the genre. Only very few went on. Here they are assembled for the first time on one cd !
