Dioivo, a Galician metal duo founded in Vigo in 2016 by Dani (drums) and Jacobo (guitars and vocals, also a member of folk metal band Mileth). After a full album and many singles, splits and Ep releases, the band is ready for their second full length studio album. Recorded in DS Audio by Dany Soengas from power metal band Atreides, "Cara os Ceios Incrementes" combines different styles, such as progressive metal, black metal or thrash metal, always with a very melodic approach. They try to be eclectic, as you can see listen to the album "Ata o final", a fast and melodic black/thrash metal song, played with a 12 string electric guitar; "Falsos heroes", a longer, more varied song; and "Que Importa que nos craven as cadeas", the brief and quirky first song of the album show the variety of the sounds. This last song is a musical adaptation of a poem by renowned Galician author Darío Xohán Cabana. Galician literature and culture is one of their main inspirations, and they have previously adapted works by Rosalía de Castro or Xosé Luís Méndez Ferrín. The rest of their lyrics cover social and personal themes. All lyrics are in Galician. Including one bonus track. Great artwork by label's fine artist Rodrigo Gudina (Core76 Studios).
