Formed in the sleepy town of Borlänge, Sweden, DOZER led the first wave of European-style stoner/desert rock, an impactful fusion of proto-metal, riff-rock and punk that blasted forth in response to the sun-baked fuzz and tectonic heft of American bands Kyuss and Fu Manchu.

More than a decade since their last outing, Dozer have reawakened with a vengeance, and return with an impassioned, amp-splitting rumble of a record.

Drifting in the Endless Void is a gravitational mass packed with dense instrumentation, arena-ready melodies, and contemplative restraint. Dozer still bring the tumultuous grooves that longtime fans expect, but they also pull in massive sludge, fuzzed-out doom, space-tripping grooves, red-eyed psychedelics, and whatever else they find floating in the vast cosmic expanse.

Dozer's return to the musical landscape they helped shape is cause enough for celebration, but the explosive playing and fiery purpose is what makes Drifting in the Endless Void a truly unmissable experience.

Press Quotes

2023's most essential heavy underground release... a work of hard-hitting beauty and scope across 42 unfuckwithable minutes.

     —Creem Magazine (issue 4)

A new Dozer album seems almost like a dream... There's a lot going on in Drifting in the Endless Void, and it's clear that Dozer spent the last fifteen years dreaming of what could be, not what was.

     —Invisible Oranges

Dozer's first full-length since 2008 departs from the grander psychedelic provocations wrought by these Swedish metallurgists. Cleaner, prettier and light years more lyrical, it's a comeback that re-casts the group aural eons from its origins.

     —Decibel Magazine

A genuinely forward-thinking take on stoner from this comeback band.

     —Metal Hammer UK

This is what it means to find yourself before true modern masters bringing forth an undeniable masterpiece, and its intoxication is not likely to wear off for decades.

     —Headbanger Reviews

'Drifting in the Endless Void' reveals a band that have transcended their roots and found a smarter and deeper way to shine.

     —Blabbermouth

One hell of a fun record, boasting the band's usual amount of bongwater-soaked riffs and furiously catchy hooks.

     —No Clean Singing

One of the most satisfying things about this album is that it was worth the wait. With a ferocious vigour and explosive power, Drifting In The Endless Void is a perfectly executed stoner album and then some.

     —Distorted Sound
