Features 'Nashville Sound' recordings by the most successful balladeer in country music history - nearly all unavailable for a half-century. Includes 30 stunning tracks from Nashville's celebrated 'Studio B' - 29 of them newly remixed in 'Living Stereo' for the first time. The CD debut of ten 'Billboard' country chart hits from the early '60s, including Tears Broke Out On Me, A Little Heartache and Molly. Stellar instrumental backing from Chet Atkins, Grady Martin, Hank 'Sugarfoot' Garland, Floyd Cramer, Jerry Reed and others. First reissue of two songs that Elvis Presley memorably covered: I Met Her Today and After Loving You. Includes the first CD release of Real Love, penned by Phil Everly. Features 1958 remakes of two vintage Eddy Arnold standards - Just A Little Lovin' and I'll Hold You In My Heart - from stereo session reels. Seven previously unissued songs.

Eager to reclaim his country music audience after his mid-'50s attempt to break into mainstream pop, Eddy Arnold made a welcome return to RCA Nashville. The country music legend embraced the Nashville Sound that he helped pioneer and Jim Reeves, Don Gibson, Chet Atkins and Anita Kerr refined to perfection. Under Atkins's supervision, Eddy Arnold created a remarkable body of work that has been overshadowed by his late '40s country classics and the lush 'countrypolitan' albums of the mid-'60s. Although Eddy Arnold tallied more than a dozen country chart hits between 1958 and 1964, less than a third appeared on his LPs. Tears Broke Out On Me fills a major gap in the singer's catalog, reissuing 33 tracks that have been unavailable for 50 years, nearly all making their first stereo appearances.

Among the highlights: Eddy Arnold's original hit version of After Loving You, which Elvis Presley revived during his celebrated 1969 American Studios sessions in Memphis; a previously unreleased version of Harlan Howard's classic She Called Me Baby.
