Years ago Dischord Records lead the charge and young punks gathered round, but in recent years Dischord's bite and edge have waned. Thus, for the last few years the DC punk rock scene has been non-existent. College rock and emo took hold, DC was desolate of good rock n roll. Until a few bands dared to defy, dared to be different. One of these bands was the Electricutions, brainchild of Scott Wilson. Scott a new resident to the DC area saw that there were no good bands and like a punch to the face he had an amazing idea. He would create the best punk rock band in the area. And he is there.
