The single also includes the earliest known recorded performances of Mitch Mitchell and Noel Redding who found fame later as members of the Jimi Hendrix Experience! These recordings were brought to the attention of Right Recordings by Tony Cartwright former manager to Tom Jones ,Engelbert Humperdink and of course Freddie Lennon. Tony also co-wrote the song with Freddie and related the history of the song how he first met and befriended Freddie and re-introduced Freddie to his son John for the first time many years! Right Recordings has digitally remastered the original 1965 recordings to bring the sound quality right up to date. It's the first time in over 50 years these recordings have been back in a studio.
