Golden Caves are considered one of the important representatives of the new generation of Progressive Rock. Significantly, in 2018 the 5-piece band from Holland were nominated in the category 'Limelight' (Greatest Talent) of the prestigious Progressive Music Awards in the UK. A dynamic mix of ProgRock with alternative influences and an infectious pop edge characterises the music of Golden Caves. A prominent role is played by the radiant frontwoman and lead singer Romy Ouwerkerk with her heavenly voice. The critically acclaimed debut album 'Collision' (2017) led to several significant club and festival shows. Particularly honorable was the invitation to perform at Summer's End, the longest existing Progressive Rock festival in England. 'Black Hound' is the first single of Golden Caves' upcoming album 'Dysergy'. The progressive rock song is about that feeling, that you're standing behind a glass window.
