For those not familiar, Green Jellÿ has been turning the music world on its side for well over 40 years. With completely insane live shows featuring puppets, costumes, ladders, and more band members on stage than the stage should be able to hold, creative frontman Bill Manspeaker has managed to continuously bring in new audiences to watch his madness unfold. In this case, he teamed up with one of his regional lineups to record a new song that, to be honest, any written description would fail to capture just how weird the song is. It's maybe a bit of a love song about aliens who want to suck butts to take over the planet Earth. The opposite side of this single is from Philly punk rock stalwarts Seeing Snakes. Seeing Snakes is a fast-paced, melodic punk band that writes introspective lyrics and fast aggressive riffs. Their contribution to this record is a song about unity, or the lack thereof, in the music scene. How did these two bands get together? Who knows. Will it ever happen again? Only if the money is right. Anyway, here is your chance to grab what has to be the strangest release you can add to your record collection or swirly random color vinyl.
