Greg Burk grew up in Michigan in a musical family and then studied in Massachusetts with Yusef Lateef and Archie Sheep and then moved to Bratislava, from where he gigged extensively in Europe before renting to the US. This album is one that he recorded under Soul Note, and he is accompanied by people such as Robinson, who's playing is stunning as ever.
