Andrey Ind, singer of Grenouer said about "Alone In The Dark": "Alone in the Dark" was originally composed back in 1998, back in those days it was more a black metal balad and was intented for 2nd Grenouer's album "Gravehead", which was death/black metal. However, the band was not really satisfied with the outcome and production, and ultimately it got only into MC version of the album, yet was never included into CD version. Two decades passed by, Grenouer gave the second chance to the song. Eleborate production came too far, so that even if the song is based on the same harmony, it is now a completely new song, with different lyrics and altered concept, having nothing in common with black metal, remininding more "Behind Blue Eyes" song, other than anything extreme now. It was not in our first plans to include it on the new album, but after Sleaszy Rider, our label listen to the track and watched the video, they proposed us to add them both audio and video on "Ambition 999", an idea we like too, so stay tuned for the final cd version!" •Watch for Grenouer on tour and don't miss their next festival appearances!
