Hipbone Slim & The Kneejerks includes three stalwarts of the British Rock 'n' Roll / Garage scene. With Hipbone Slim (aka Sir Bald Diddley) on guitar, harmonica and vocals, Pete Scoundrel (The Cybermen) on bass guitar, keyboards and vocals, and Bruce 'Brash' Brand (Thee Milkshakes, Thee Headcoats, The Len Bright Combo, Link Wray, The Voo-Dooms, The Masonics, and many more), they already have two new albums and an introductory EP out, and many more to follow (including this very EP, of course). Hipbone Slim never stops recording new music. Having recorded fifteen much lauded albums in various guises, this Beat/Garage combo being the latest to add to them, he recently had a track featured on Stranger Things TV series. This four-track 7" EP contains four Garage/Rhythm'n'Beat bangers, with wild guitar and swingin' organ. Side A's 'Where you Gone?' is a pounding frenzied garage organ stomper, while 'Hey Catalina!' fires The Kinks meets Medway meets Dutronc, in a beat pop frugger, Side B's 'Celandine' let's Pete take lead vocals and organ solo, on a groovy minor key wife swapper beat dancer, whilst 'Beyond The Back Of Beyond' is like a wild Link getting lost in a jungle; deranged garage-surf guitar meets Telstar organ instrumental romper (with Mad Bongo Jeff guesting on bashing). Britain's Best Kept Maximum R'n'R Secret!
