Home Reared Meat, the death/grind combo from the beautiful Emsland region, present their fourth long player TRUCKSTOP TERROR. Characterized by blasting death metal, grind and country influences, everyone gets their money's worth. In terms of content, the album deals with exaggerated childhood experiences of the Emsland backwoods culture (Start Your Day Right), crazy sci-fi themes (Crop Circles), the fight against right-wing extremism (Spayed by a Teethless Goat), the man-made destruction of our planet (Downfall) and lots of brain-dead nonsense such as the arbitrary destruction of a service station (Truckstop Terror) and a bloody decapitation massacre using moped rims (Rim Decapitation).
The songs Dirty Butthole and Booze&Titties let the Emsland redneck vibes shine in all their glory once again. Like its predecessors, TRUCKSTOP TERROR was recorded by Jörg Uken at Soundlodge Studio Rhauderfehn.
This time, Mathias Riediger from Zenephant Studio in Hamburg was responsible for mixing and mastering.
