Ingi Bjarni a piano player from Iceland has composed all music with these musicians in mind and they are all colouring the music beautifully with their playing. Lyrical, lovely music with at times a bittersweet melancholy inspired by Nordic folk music and contemporary jazz. The last track with the funny title in Icelandic means "Not a folksong, not jazz" and this sums it up. Who cares what the music is called anyway - this is simply very beautiful music!
