Having performed with these two musicians before, and being amazed by their instincts and chops James Lee asked Cheryl Prashker (percussionist) and Chad Watson (bassist) to be part of a live concert with the stipulation that there be no rehearsal and no fixed arrangements. James just wanted to record what happens when three great musicians play together. And providing the live audience made it all the more immediate because there was no going back, it was a live performance.
