Existence has an aspect of stillness - at least it seems to, when you are alone in the forest, holding your breath, not blinking. The rhythmic aspect is much more obvious; breathing, heartbeats, days, years, love, life ... music. I've heard that the complex rhythmic cycles of Indian music imitate the course of the stars.
