Lauren Weinger was born in Chicago in 1956. She now lives in Boston and teaches and researches in Sonic Arts at Rhode Island School of Design, and School of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston. Her installations and soundtracks have appeared at many museums and galleries internationally, including The Whitney Museum, The Walker Arts Centre, The American Film Institute, The Avignon Festival, and Festival del Centro Historico, Mexico.
