" Silentia Nova " is the second album by the German band LE MUR but the first one that actually appears . The debut namely , " In Tenebris " should appear on an English label in 2011. The label, however delayed the release date by more than a year, which led to the dissolution of the contract. Meanwhile, however , the band has already recorded the next album in the own studio , which ties thematically to the first album. That's what we call consistency, and in fact Janine Ficklscherer (bass ), Matthias Graef ( vocals, guitar , saxophone , organ ) and Georgios Dosis ( drums) show an enormous will to continue their way , making records and standing on stage as often as possible. The young trio forms a strong unit , and it should go with the devil, when the musicians did not meet their goals! LE MUR call their music heavy- Dark- trip -rock with prog influences and Space . And in fact , that hits it. The songs are heavy, partly grim ( sometimes reminiscent of the Velvet Underground ) , there is rampant instrumental sections with a dash of Hawkwind , and when Matthias Graef then unexpectedly picks up the saxophone , strong memories come to the magnificent Out Of Focus . They worshiped the heroes of the seventies , but they are not copied. " Silentia Nova " , the second one in a planned trilogy , will be released in a limited edition vinyl . The first 500 LPs are on colored vinyl and are hand numbered . The cover is painted by legendary Helmut Wenske (NEKTAR etc.) So not only a musical treat , but also an exquisite rarity. Ultimately, the board of a band that you will certainly hear in the future. ! We promise! Side 1 1.O.m.e.n. - A Decision of Despair 2. Technical Progress and other Suicide Stuff 3. Ghost Track II 4. Die Nacht der Lemuren (Teil II) Side 2 1. Sun 2. Silentia Nova 3. O.m.e.n. - Creation of a New Silence Attention: Title 3 on Page 1 is a Hidden Track!
