Second studio album (2018) by the new band line-up around the ex-LENNEROCKERS MICHAEL and STEFAN KOCH - 14 themed songs about the Christmas holidays on CD on AGR TELEVISION RECORDS. After the debut album "Choo Choo Billy Train", the popular quartet continues with the typical sound - "Santa's Plane" follows the previous albums stylistically seamlessly and offers a mix of rock'n'roll, rockabilly, old school country and a touch from blues. Eight original compositions by the brothers MICHAEL and STEFAN KOCH as well as six selected covers make up a very varied work. The guitar work is influenced by the likes of CHUCK BERRY ("Run Rudolph Run") and JOHNNY CASH guitarist LUTHER PERKINS ("The X In X-mas"), while the piano groove is featured in songs like "Rocking Around The Christmas Tree" and "Boogie Woogie Santa Claus" clearly points in the direction of JERRY LEE LEWIS. The typical teddy boy sound of the British rock 'n' roll revival of the 70s is taken up in "Teddyboy Season Greetings". The opener of the album is the upbeat "Christmas All Over Again", a rockabilly number with a very catchy melody and a refrain that you can't get out of your head so quickly. A song that releases a positive Christmas atmosphere and increases the anticipation of the festival with every pass. Here comes Some Rock 'n' Roll Before The Silent Night!
