Magic O Metal is a journey with a lot of metal splendor, to add to the impressive Gommans catalog. He combines all the important ingredients of his past and the result is impressive. It contains everything that makes metal such a popular genre: technical perfection, sizzling solos and towering choruses that immediately nestle in your head. Rodney Blaze (Ayreon, Star One) plays the role of Picu with his voice and his counterpart Icepick is brought to life by Sander himself. Marina La Torraca (Exit Eden, Phantom Elite) takes on the role of Lexie and Nick Holleman (Vicious Rumors, Sinbreed) injects his talents in the character of Alex. With his keyboard swirls and clever pompous elements, Koen Stam (Equisa, Magoria) reinforces the guitars and song structures. Ruud Jolie (Within Temptation and Maiden United) also adds some impressive guitar soli.
