MALPHAS was founded in 2014 by Raven Dust (guitar), Xezbeth (guitar) and Excelsi Astaroth (vocals) in Switzerland. The band has been dedicated to occult Black Metal from day one. In 2015, a first demo named "Occult Propaganda" was released, which brought the band its first attention within Switzerland and beyond. On this basis, MALPHAS created their first full-length album. "Incantation" was released in 2017 and put the band on the international Black Metal map. In the following years, the band started playing live more and more - gigs in Switzerland and Germany followed. To support them, various musicians were hired over the years to reinforce them on drums and bass for gigs. In 2020, J. joined as drummer. Live, MALPHAS are also supported by bassist F. to unleash the full force of the band during their rituals on stage. At the end of 2021, MALPHAS signed with the Berlin-based label Folter Records to release the new album "Divinity's Fall". The Swiss' second full-length album will once again spread its unholy message in driven Black Metal, refined by sinister melodies. It's not for nothing that Dissection and Watain were often mentioned as references back in the days of their demo.
