Emerging from the scene that spawned the West Coast response at the DIY onset of the 1980s post punk, the Meat Puppets surfed atop that movement, riding beyond it into the "alternative" rock boom. Experimenting along with their early labelmates on SST Records, Meat Puppets established a unique style that embodies country-punk-psychedelia. Live Manchester 2019 reveals the classic Puppets line up of Kirkwood/Kirkwood/Bostrom augmented by guitarist Elmo Kirkwood and keyboard guru Ron Stabinsky.
