The second album from 2004 by the phenomenal Danish thrash/progressive/nu metal act! Once again featuring the talent of the producer Tue Madsen (The Haunted, Konkhra, Grope), recorded using the binaural recording technology, and focusing on somewhat less elaborate yet immensely powerful and catchy compositions, "The Audio Injected Soul" is an absolute killer that will undoubtedly strike a vibe with more fastidious metal fans. The Danish band Mnemic was founded in 1998 by Mark Bai (vocals) - replaced in 2001 by Michael Bøgballe - Mircea Gabriel Eftemie (guitar), Rune Stigart (guitar), Mikkel Larsen (bass), and Brian Rasmussen (drums). In 2002, having signed a record deal with Nuclear Blast Records, they released their debut album "Mechanical Spin Phenomena". Shortly afterwards, Tomas "Obeast" Koefod replaced Mikkel Larsen on the bass. Their second album "The Audio Injected Soul", recorded using the binaural recording technology saw the light of day in 2004. The year 2005 brought a change in Mnemic's lineup, with Michael Bøgballe leaving the band and being replaced first by Tony Jelencovich and later, in 2006, by Guillaume Bideau. "Passenger", Mnemic's third album produced by Christian Olde Wolbers (Fear Factory) and featuring guest vocals by Jeff Walker (Carcass, Brujera) and Shane Embury (Napalm Death, Brujera) was released in 2007, followed three years later by "Sons of the System". The year 2013 witnessed the departure from the band's ranks of Rune Stigart, Tomas Koefoed and Brian Rasmussen. Mnemic found new members in, respectively, Victor-Ray Salomonsen Ronander, Simone Bertozzi, and Brian Larsen, with whom they released their latest album to date "Mnemesis" in 2012. New edition re-released on Golden Disc, limited and numerated to 2000 copies.
