Without Motorhead, there would be no Metallica, Slayer or Testament. It's pretty obvious. Motorhead laid down the rules for the thrash metal movement that would engulf metal music in the early to mid 80's. Their music is very fast, very brash punk/metal. This compilation is a good overview of early Motorhead and includes their story and a photo gallery of the band. This is a great beginning to one of metal's most influential bands. If you are interested in hearing very early thrash metal, this would be a perfect choice. All tracks are studio recordings recorded 1978-1986.
