Washington DC garage rock vandals The NVs blend spitfire vocals with urgent, melodic guitars and restless rhythms. Front woman Sal Go brings a banshee holler to a four-on-the-floor punk schematic with frequently dark, volatile and even humorous lyrics. The NVs formed in October 2011 and played just a handful of DC venues before hitting the road in February on a quick and dirty midwest tour. The band mixed it up with unpredictable crowds - oi skins and practicing yuppies alike - wielding white-knuckled fury like a kid who found his father's gun. Featuring members of (Stop Worrying And) Love The Bomb, The Electricutions and Black & White Jacksons, The NVs recorded four songs at much-venerated Inner Ear Studios in early February.
