During their successful Lavender Tour in 1991/92, THE PERC MEETS THE HIDDEN GENTLEMAN, also performed with their backing band, the Lavender Orchestra, at the Bunkr Club in Prague. The result was a bootleg album in great sound quality, which went through the scene a few months later and today is a sought-after collector's item. The band had authorized the recordings in retrospect and secured a part of the edition. Just in time for the 25th anniversary of "Praha", Tribal Stomp now presents a new digitally revised edition and presents as bonus the entry title from Prague, which did not hit the record then and will be released here for the first time. The titles "Orpheus Rising", "Hotel of Empty Souls" and the encore "Swallow me blind / Passah People" are not to find on any other official recordings of TPMTHG. The German project duo The Perc Meets The Hidden Gentleman, consisting of Tom "The Perc" Redecker and Emilio "The Hidden Gentleman" Winschetti, was founded in 1987 in Bremen. Winschetti had previously played in the wave band MYTHEN IN TÜTEN(later Mint Addicts, Mint), Redecker in the industrial project KÜHE IM NEBEL and solo as THE PERC. The style of the duo changed over time. While avant-garde minimalism prevailed on their debut album "Two Foozles At The Tea Party" (1989), they both discovered their preference for acoustic guitars on the second album "This Maid of Delphi" (1990) and became the forerunners of New Psycho / Stoner Folks. In 1991, their most successful album "Lavender" was released, which simultaneously represented a concept album. Friendly musicians from Deine Lakaien, Phillip Boa, Strangemen, Lolitas and Fehlfarben support the musicians in the studio. The release was followed by this one-year tour, which also took the duo and their Lavender Orchestra to neighboring countries. With "Ages" appeared in 1993 the most recent studio album of the "most idiosyncratic duo of Germany" (ME / Sounds). It became the most elaborate album of the duo.
