On this, the third album from UK based fingerstyle guitarist Pete Kent, the master returns with a series of diverse takes on his signature sound. It can often be difficult to believe that Kent plays all the parts to his songs simultaneously, with basslines, melodies and percussion all simultaneously flowing throughout. A few covers also appear on the album, allowing for Kent to demonstrate his capabilities as an arranger and pay homage to artists Radiohead, Jamiroquai and Royal Blood. Final track 3.6.9. offers something of a surprise for any long time fans, as Pete has used this track to explore music outside that which he can create on a single acoustic guitar. This is truly one of those wonderful albums where each new listen will expose added complexities to the music, and you'll soon find that repeated listens won't diminish your listening experience.
