Formed in 1999 as a reaction to a punk scene of bands that neatly fell into genre-specific placements, Piss Shit Fuck defied easy categorization. Blending elements of metal, doom, noise, thrash, and crust with modern punk rock, they recorded their first songs in the winter of 1999-2000, then spent the next year playing around in the usual fire halls, abandoned fraternal lodge buildings, skate parks, and occasional rock bars. By 2001 the band had begun playing up and down the east coast, from Philly to New Orleans, developing a knack for conveying pure hatred for the shortcomings of our political leaders, to the point of usually pissing off audience members. To the glee of the band, sometimes it was the entire audience they pissed off, as was the case in Atlanta, 2001, as a speedy, somewhat naked PSF played a particularly enthused set to a crowd of homophobic skinheads, inciting them to attack the band with dozens of beer bottles. After 9/11, however, the band was immobilized for stepping on the toes of the children of the elite and refusing to participate neatly in the sock-hop mentality that abounded in the land. After the tragic death of jovial dreadlocked guitarist/singer Dextro The Meth Orphan, the band remained absent from the scene from 2003 until their recent reformation. During the down time lead singer X-Ray signed on as vocalist of American Distress, an "as notorious" hardcore punk band spawned from the wreckage of the infamous Choking Victim and INDK. Shortly afterward, X-Ray stepped up to record vocals for Piss Shit Fuck's debut full length. More than 7 years after their start, and complete with rambling stories of misinformation that will literally leave your hair in knots, Piss Shit Fuck is a band still capable of playing an energetic set of punk rock. Although now equipped with micro-chip tracking devices implanted in their skin by punk rock's double agents for thought control and emotional stability, Piss Shit Fuck stands toe-to-toe with the tradition of controversial NC HC bands like Antiseen and the mid eighties C.O.C. Like their celebrated counterparts, PSF is confrontational in the face of our stagnant and predictable industry, absolutely insisting that their full name be listed as Piss Shit Fuck on the front of each album copy without censorship of any type. With such an uncompromising attitude, this is a band braced for either superstardom or infamy. You decide.
